Kevin Peterson: Knee Injury keeps him out of England Squad

Kevin Peterson will be out of England's final test against NewZealand due to knee injury. No announcement has been made on who will replace him in the England side this week. The series is tied at 0-0 heading into the final Test.

The dashing player first experienced knee pain during fielding in the match in Queenstown at the start of the month. Knee problem continued and he was off the field during the test in Dunedin.

Pietersen will now return to the UK for a further medical review, plus a programme of rest and rehabilitation.

He has also been withdrawn from next month's Indian Premier League where he was to play with the Delhi Daredevils.
